Ash Sinclair

Driven by a strong passion for environmental conservation and social studies, Ash spent her childhood in Noosa sailing, surfing and immersed in nature. Inspired by the beauty that surrounds her, she now channels this passion into action and her creative practices.

Ash recently published "Earth & Us" as part of her Year 12 independent study at Noosa Pengari Steiner School. Her book explored a range of locals on the front line of environmental conservation in our region - from young wildlife rescuers to experienced educators. In 2024 Ash will be bringing us the "Waste Warrior Diaries" and other blog features on our Plastic Free Champions and Events.

A soul wise beyond her years, we find hope in youth voices like Ash who know that the future is unwritten, and that we as individuals have the power to change the narrative.

Jarrah Small

On a mission to inspire others to take care of our beautiful biosphere region, 15-year-old Plastic Free Noosa Ambassador and Waste Warrior, Jarrah Small, has always been front and centre at our clean-up events and one of our most dedicated waste warriors.

In 2023 she won the Les Hall Young Conservationist Award on the Sunshine Coast, and in 2021 Jarrah won the Sunshine Coast Lightning’s Local Legend Awards presented by Unitywater⚡️celebrating those who go ABOVE AND BEYOND in our local community.

Jarrah grew up spending her days surrounded by the ocean, national parks and wildlife and the more time she spends in nature the more she’s realised just how much plastic there really is in our ocean, and how it is harming our planet.

Ocean Grace

Grace Good is a 14-year-old budding underwater and coastal photographer who is on a mission to make the coast a happy place that is free from plastics. She is our kinda girl!!!

Grace and her mum Ashley live on Noosa North Shore and the ocean is her happy place. Grace is passionate about picking up rubbish, no matter how small or how far she has to walk with the rubbish, and she wants to motivate and inspire all local businesses to stop using plastics, which will help to look after our environment and waterways. In addition, she is creating, bamboo cups, plastic free straws, hats and bags to raise money for Plastic Free Noosa through her social enterpise, OceanGrace.

Dani Garreton

Dani Garreton is a proud supporter of Plastic Free Noosa. Based in Spain, her art conveys the deep sense of respect and passion she feels for the ocean.
